Because of their tendency to travel, and live in the wilds, the
Gangrel are the most likely to have contact with the Lupines (werewolves). And
while this relationship is rarely one of friendship, the Gangrel have an easier
time dealing with the them than do the other clans. Or perhaps it would be more
accurate to say that the Gangrel have an easier time avoiding detection by the
Lupines. In fact, some Gangrel have even managed to pass themselves off as a
Garou (the term the Lupine's use to refer to each other) and learn some of their
stories or something about their culture. While this is a very dangerous game to
play, great honor and prestige is afforded to those who manage to pull it off.
Also, while it doesn't offer as much prestige among the clan, some Gangrel take
great pleasure by performing "cout coup" on the Garou.
