British Meals
Who ever said British food is bland, obviously hasn't lived here or at least not had a well prepared meal.
I really enjoy food here in England, I guess one can tell with my "trouser" size being a little larger than it should.
The following are a few of the traditional dishes served in pubs, chip shops and of course in the home.
I have marked my favorites (*) along with the favorites (**) of the kids.

Roast beef and Yorkshire pudding*
This is England's traditional Sunday lunch.
Toad-in-the-Hole
sausages covered in batter and roasted.
Fish and chips**
Fish (cod, haddock, huss, plaice) deep fried in flour batter
with chips (french fries) dressed in malt vinegar.

eggs, back bacon, sausages, fried bread,
mushrooms, baked beans, tomato, fried potatoes
Bangers and Mash**
mashed potatoes and sausages
Cottage Pie*
made with minced beef and vegetables topped with mashed potato
Shepherds Pie
